Project description

Tethys Robotics is focused on solving critical challenges for industries engaged in underwater work, particularly in offshore energy (oil, gas, wind), hydro energy, and ammunition residues detection and retrieval. Our startup aims to provide a scalable solution that meets the industry's pressing needs for consistent data collection, low-cost and easy deployment, and reliable operation in harsh environments with strong currents and poor visibility. By leveraging advanced autonomy, AI-powered mapping, and innovative and modular robotics, Tethys Robotics is positioned to disrupt traditional methods, significantly reducing the need for human divers and enhancing safety and efficiency in underwater operations.

Status/Results

Following the successful launch of Tethys ONE in August 2024, Tethys Robotics is now concentrating on acquiring customers and gaining deeper industry insights to align its technical development with customer needs. In underwater automation, it's crucial to identify which processes can be automated and how our compact underwater drone can integrate into existing workflows. Additionally, we are currently preparing for our next fundraising round, planned for 2025.
