Projektbeschreibung

Irmos is an ETH Spin-off that enables owners of large portfolios of buildings and bridges to optimize maintenance costs and minimize risks of downtimes and collapses. The team combines sensor data with advanced AI for safer and more sustainable infrastructure. Their technology translates vibrations generated by wind or traffic into structural health metrics for predictive maintenance planning.

Stand/Resultate

The project successfully reached its final milestones, with both software and hardware now at TRL 7. Irmos has deployed its scalable cloud-based platform for structural health monitoring, with successful validation from over 10 customers across Switzerland, Germany, Greece, and the US. Key partnerships were established with armasuisse, AXA real estate, and the Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), resulting in long-term agreements. The company refined its technology based on feedback from early adopters and is now positioned for international expansion. With successful follow-up funding through grants and prizes, irmos recently opened its first investor round to fuel growth and plans to expand its team and market presence in the coming years.
