Projektbeschreibung

Irmos is an ETH Spin-off that enables owners of large portfolios of buildings and bridges to optimize maintenance costs and minimize risks of downtimes and collapses. The team combines sensor data with advanced AI for safer and more sustainable infrastructure. Their technology translates vibrations generated by wind or traffic into structural health metrics for predictive maintenance planning.

Stand/Resultate

The interim goals achieved include reaching MVP levels for both software and hardware prototypes, successful validation of algorithmic pipelines on real bridges and buildings, and initiation of market validation with key partners. The project aims to close the gap in current subjective and time-consuming structural assessment practices by offering a data-driven solution that enhances efficiency and accuracy. Implementation activities underway involve refining the solution based on pilot project feedback, expanding market reach through partnerships with industry stakeholders and service providers, and continuing development towards achieving Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 8. The project led to the incorporation of irmos technologies AG that has been granted the esteemed ETH spin-off label. The company has already established key partnerships with industry leaders. Follow-up funding has been secured through early revenues, grants, and prizes. The company plans to open the first investment opportunity in Q3 2024 to fuel its growth.
