Projektbeschreibung
Energy is a key domain today and for our future. The green shift to sustainable energy sources plays a central role in combating the climate change and in supporting economic development, both in developed and in developing countries. Understanding energy means becoming familiar with scientific concepts and technical applications, and requires data literacy skills to understand complex phenomena. Developing a positive attitude is fundamental for young people to move from the doomsday perspective of scarcity to a constructive action-oriented view. EnergiaFuturo develops and disseminates innovative interactive crossmedia formats, that propose scientific information on energy-related topics for young people (age 12-18) with a constructive, agency-oriented attitude. Science communication is geared towards stimulating knowledge, openness and agency, exploiting original and entertaining crossmedia formats including videos, memes, interactive data visualizations and instructional materials, aiming to connect formal and informal learning contexts. The produced media items will be used as sparkle to engage young people in science-related media production events.
Strengthened by a regional network of academic, educational, industry and media partners, EnergiaFuturo contributes to the dissemination of the objectives of the new Energy Strategy 2050 of the Swiss Confederation and the Goal 7 Clean and Affordable Energy of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and also to the dissemination of the important topics of the Cantonal Energy Plan (PEC).
